Cookie Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
moreDS uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that keeps information in your browser without sending it to our servers on every request. We use both only for the purposes listed below.
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __Secure-better-auth.session_token | Cookie (essential) | Keeps you signed in and protects your account. | 7 days, renewed while you use the Service |
| moreds-theme | Cookie (preference) | Remembers light or dark mode across the moreDS website and app. | 1 year |
| moreds-theme | Local storage (preference) | Keeps the theme in step across your open tabs. | Until cleared |
| moreds-hand-picked-display | Local storage (preference) | Remembers the destination and currency you chose on Hand-Picked Products. | Until cleared |
| moreds:discovery:saved:… | Local storage (functional) | Keeps products you saved in your browser. | Until cleared |
| tiktok-oembed:… | Local storage (performance) | Caches TikTok post previews so they load faster. | Up to 6 hours |
Essential cookies are needed for the Service to work, so they cannot be switched off in the Service. Preference and functional storage only remembers choices you make.
3. Third parties
- Stripe: when you pay for a plan, Stripe’s payment pages may set cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe’s own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: our websites are delivered through Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary cookies to protect them from abuse.
- Embedded content: if you play an embedded TikTok post, TikTok may set its own cookies. Product images load from the marketplaces that host them.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies. If you block essential cookies you will not be able to sign in. Clearing local storage resets your theme, display settings and products saved in your browser.
